    Yes, BetterBoard’s board portal offers five different user levels, making it possible to differentiate access rights and features. For example, the Observer level can grant external parties, such as auditors or lawyers, access to specific workspaces and materials without giving access to the rest of the board’s documents and meetings.

Afterward, you can generate two versions of the minutes: a complete internal version and an external version excluding confidential content. This flexible structure is ideal for boards handling sensitive information while still required to publish minutes.

  • Can documents be moved between folders?
    Yes! In BetterBoard’s board portal, it’s easy and intuitive to move documents across folders. The archive allows quick reorganization of files, ensuring they are stored where they fit best.
  • Can documents be signed with MitID in BetterBoard’s board portal?
    Absolutely. With BetterBoard’s board portal, you can sign documents using MitID, ensuring a high level of security and user-friendly authentication. We also support Swedish and Norwegian BankID. You can even customize signature methods at both document and user level, so some can sign with MitID while others use SMS PIN (two-factor) on the same document – without requiring additional authentication.
  • Can members be removed, and what happens to their data?
    Yes, as an administrator you can easily remove members as needed. When a member is deleted, their data is handled in accordance with BetterBoard’s policies. Deleted users will still have access to their signed documents for a limited period, allowing downloads before permanent deletion.
  • How is data secured in BetterBoard’s board portal?
    We protect your data with advanced encryption technologies, including SSL/TLS for data in transit and AES for data at rest, guaranteeing a very high level of security.
