AI has moved into the boardroom. At BetterBoard, we see artificial intelligence as a tool that can help board members create an overview, save time and increase the quality of decision-making processes. However, AI should never replace human judgment; on the contrary, it is a tool to support and strengthen the value-creating work of the board of directors.
BetterBoard’s AI features are developed by our own developers in close collaboration with external AI specialists. This means, among other things, that the AI functionality is built directly into our own source code, tailored to the board’s needs, and so that we can constantly develop the functions in line with new wishes and needs from our users.

What is BetterBoard’s AI?
With BetterBoards AI assistant you can:

The purpose is to make it easier to prepare and at the same time to free up more time for discussions and decisions where the board’s knowledge and experience are crucialto make the most qualified decisions.
How does the AI feature work?
The AI feature is fully integrated into the board portal and can be activated on portals with the Premium plan. If you do not have a Premium plan, the AI function can be purchased separately.
When agendas, minutes or attachments are uploaded, the AI assistant can help you process the material. With one click, you can generate summaries, whether they concern individual points or the entire meeting material.

Abstract writing with AI
Make your abstract notes in the portal and get help rewriting the text in different styles with automatic spelling and grammar check. The minutes are clearly marked as AI-translated, and the rapporteur can choose between multiple suggestions or return to previous versions via the new version historyoption. -
Summary of agenda items including attachments
Get short summaries of even complex agenda items including sub-items and attachments. This provides an overview and saves time in preparation.

The launch of the first AI features is just the beginning. Our developers are working on the next generation of features where summaries can be customized to the individual board member’s skills and role on the board.
This means that in the future, the BetterBoards AI assistant can not only provide general summaries, but also present angles and perspectives that support the individual member’s professional strengths.
Our roadmap also includes several new features that we look forward to presenting in upcoming updates to the board portal.
